Contact BSI Management Systems
We can help you find the service that best suits your needs and send you supporting literature.

Stage 2: Application Process
Organizations complete a pre-application questionnaire which is then sent to BSI. BSI will then review this questionnaire and provide you with a proposal for assessment and registration that meets your specific organizational needs.

Stage 3: Formal Application
On receipt of the BSI proposal organizations should then submit a formal application for assessment.

Stage 4: Assessment Team Appointment
On receipt of your formal application BSI will compile an assessment team chosen to meet the needs of your specific business and to offer you support whilst developing your system.

Stage 4a: Pre-Assessment (Optional)
The optional service involves a gap analysis audit of your system which will result in a written report detailing your readiness for assessment.

Stage 5: Initial Assessment / Evaluation
This stage will involve a detailed review your management system documentation and an assessment of the implementation of your food safety management system.

Stage 6: Registration
On successful completion of the assessment process a certificate of registration is issued.

Step 7: Continual Assessment
Your certificate is maintained via continuing assessment visits.
