ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 IT Service Management - Specification
ISO/IEC 20000-2:2005 IT Service Management Code of practice
ISO/IEC 20000-1 provides requirements for IT Service Management and is relevant to those responsible for initiating, implementing or maintaining IT Service Management in their organization.
ISO/IEC 20000-2 takes the form of guidance notes and recommendations and describes the best practices for Service Management processes within the scope of ISO/IEC 20000-1. The code of practice will be of particular use to organizations preparing to be audited against ISO/IEC 20000-1 or planning service improvements.
