Telecommunications TL 9000

Route to Registration

We've made the process of registering for TL 9000 remarkably easy. Firstly we recommend you visit the QuEST Forum web site at www.questforum.org and register with the QuEST Forum Administrator. As part of the TL 9000 registration process, companies must register as a candidate.

Then there are seven steps for you to follow:

Step 1: Scope
Determine the scope of the registration and identify the product categories that you will be making metrics submissions against.

Step 2: Implementation
If not already in place, develop and implement (changes to) a documented quality management system so that it meets or exceeds the TL 9000 requirements.

Step 3: Gap-analysis
Conduct a self assessment or have a third party perform a gap-analysis. Implement any improvements to comply with the TL 9000 requirements

Step 4: Contact BSI
Contact BSI to arrange a pre-assessment visit which will serve as a practice audit. Once the pre-assessment is complete and corrective actions have been taken, then make arrangements for your initial audit.

Step 5: Initial audit
BSI conducts an on-site audit in accordance with the selected scope. BSI will then make formal recommendations.

Step 6: Registration
On successful completion of the audit and a certificate of registration is issued.

Step 7: Continual Assessments
Once you have been awarded registration, you can begin promoting your registration. The validity of your registration and certificate is then maintained through a process of continual assessments and periodic strategic reviews.
